The exhibition centers on bark paintings, emphasizing the exceptional craftsmanship and deep cultural significance of Indigenous artists. The arrangement of the works is carefully curated, divided into three main sections based on regional styles: Western, Eastern, and Central Arnhem Land. This allows visitors to gradually delve into the creative contexts of these master artists. The color scheme of the exhibition is meticulously designed to complement the natural pigments of the bark paintings and the texture of wood carvings. Each artwork is illuminated in a way that enhances its natural and mystical atmosphere, highlighting that these bark paintings are not only art pieces but also symbols of connection to ancestral spirits and the land.
